Bread Snack



INGREDIENTS:

Bread  - 8 slices, toasted and cubed
Onions  - 1/2 cup, chopped
Tomatoes - 2, chopped
Green Chillies  - 3, slit
Curry leaves  - 9 to 10 leaves (optional)
Ginger paste  - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric  - 1/4 tsp
Oil  - 1/4 cup
Water  - 1/4 cup
Red Chilli powder  - 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice  - 4 tsp
Salt  - to taste


Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. Once they crackle, add in some curry leaves and ginger paste. Mix. Then, add in the onions, green chillies and fry until they turn slightly brown. Next, the tomatoes and fry until they turn slightly mushy. Then, add in the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, water and mix. Last, the toasted bread pieces and mix until the bread gets infused with the mixture. Then, add in the lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot as a quick evening snack or breakfast. 


Tips:

The above quantity can serve 3 to 4 people for snack.
