Green Peas Salad



INGREDIENTS

Frozen Green Peas - 1 cup, thawed
Black Olives  - 4 to 5, pitted
White Onion  - 1/4, sliced
Oil  - 2 tsp
Salt  - to taste
Pepper  - 1/2 tsp, freshly ground
Green Chilli paste  - 1/4 tsp (optional)


Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add in the sliced onions, green peas and saute for about 3 to 4 mins. Add in the green chilli paste and salt and mix everything well. Finally, add in the pitted olives and switch off stove. Sprinkle some black pepper powder on top before serving.

Tips:

I've used the green chilli paste so it adds mild spice to the green peas. You can skip it if you don;t like spice in your salad.
Add the olives just before taking the pan off the heat, else they tend to break.
