Black Bean Masala Toast




INGREDIENTS:

Black Beans - 1 cup, boiled and mashed
Onion - 1/2, finely chopped
Tomato - 1, chopped
Oil - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 seeds
Red Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Pav bhaji masala - 1/2 tsp
Water - 1/4 cup
Salt - to taste


PROCEDURE:

Heat oil in pan. Add in cumin seeds.

Next, add in onions and saute until light brown. Then, tomatoes and saute for about 2 mins. 

Then, add in the black beans, red chilli powder and pav bhaji masala, salt and mix well. 

Add in 1/4 cup of water and mix. We add water so the masala remains moist and can be spread easily on the toast.

Toast the bread, spread butter, green chutney and black bean masala on top.

Garnish with lemon juice and coriander for added flavor.
