Potato Beans Fry



INGREDIENTS

Beans - 1 lb, chopped
Potato - 1 lb, cubed
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp (optional)

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and potato. Saute them for about 5 mins. Then, add in the chopped beans and continue to saute. It might approximately take about 15 to 20 mins until the vegetables are soft. Add in chilli powder, turmeric and coriander powder and mix well. Serve with rice or roti.

Notes:

This recipe tastes good with only cumin-coriander powder. If you want some spice, you can add red chilli powder.

The potato cubes might stick to the pan. If so, you can add in a few drops of oil and continue to stir.
