Beet Soup
Beetroots are an excellent source of folic acid!
INGREDIENTS:
Beets - 2, small, slicedTomato - 1, sliced
Cinnamon powder - a pinch
Salt - to taste
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Ghee - 1/2 tsp
Water - 1 ltr
Pressure cook beets and tomato in water. Blend them smooth in a mixer or using a hand-blender.
Transfer to a bowl through a mesh strainer and bring to a boil. Add salt.
Temper cumin seeds in ghee and add to the soup.
Serve this low calorie soup into a bowl and enjoy.
