Ivy Gourd Masala



INGREDIENTS

Ivy Gourd  - 1 lb, washed and sliced
Onions - 1 medium, chopped
Tomatoes  - 2 medium, chopped
Cumin Seeds  - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli powder  - 1 tsp
Garam Masala  - 1 tsp
Turmeric  - 1/2 tsp
Oil  - 2 tsp
Salt  - to taste

Cook Ivy gourd in pressure cooker for a single whistle. Heat oil in a pan, add in cumin seeds, onions and fry until golden brown. Then, add in tomatoes and fry until they turn soft. Then, add in all the powders and cooked ivy gourd pieces and mix well. Garnish with coriander.
This can be eaten with rice/roti.

Tips:

Ivy gourd leaves some water when cooked. Drain it before adding into the pan.
